Ministry Events for week ending 9/8/13:

Thursday's Study at the Tulia Unit: We continued in our study of II Timothy. Chapter three, verses five and six, were reviewed. We stayed in verse five for the most part, discussing those with a form of godliness. They are in comparison with the evening wolves, of the old testament. Animal characteristics are always associated with these deceivers.

Friday's Study at the Youth Center of the High Plains: Job 1: 1-21 was the topic for this Study. A lot of questions concerning our adversary were addressed. We, also, were taught of the long suffering and patience of Job. He serves as our example of the suffering, which we must endure, as well.

MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU!

Ministry Events for week ending 9/1/13:

Thursday's Study at the Tulia Unit: In II Timothy, we continued with "unholy", at the end of verse two. We reviewed these verses in bits, unto verse seven, at least through verse six. About a third of the men were new to the class. There has been a big turnover, at the Unit. It is always a joy, when new men come to join us. We were all excited about the Revival, set to begin on Saturday at the Unit. We will pick back up at verse seven, I think, in the next study.

Friday's Study at the Youth Center of the High Plains: John 3: 1-16, severed as the subject matter, for this Study. One of the young men asked a question, in the onset, of the Study. He wanted to know where to find a scripture, that his father had sent to him. Though, he was somewhat off base, with the question, I perceived that he was referring to this passage. He, later agreed, after we got into the scriptures, a bit. To try and help the young ones to understand, being born again, was a challenge, at first. However, the Holy Ghost led the Study, to open up their understanding. The earthly birth, of the sinful nature, as opposed, to the Heavenly birth was realized. There is a beautiful statement made, when the Spirit of the Father, moves all obstacles, which try to hold back, spiritual awareness. Thanks be the Father of Lights!

Saturday's Revival Service (Tulia Unit): We were set up outside under the canopy, of outside recreation. We had about three hundred men to come out. The Praise Teams led off with songs of worship, after I opened with scripture and prayer. The men were given an opportunity to go back inside,  for whatever reason, they desired to. About sixty of them did so. Danny McFalls came forth with testimonies, a brief description of our start, in "Outer Camp", and a message from Luke 14: 15-20. He highlighted the excuses that many make, not to follow Jesus. I followed with a message from Matthew's eleventh chapter. John the Baptist was reviewed. However, the flux of the message was from verse twelve. It was a reminder of our enemies efforts, and the responses that we should counter with. We, as children of God fight, in an opposite manner, than that of our opposition.

Sunday's Service at the Clements Unit: Our "usual Volunteer opened the Service, with scripture and prayer. The Praise Team led in songs of worship. The Volunteer delivered a message of encouragement and warnings. We observed the Lord's Supper. Another man brought a message, dealing with brotherly love. A few more songs  of praise, and afterwards, I gave a word from Matthew 13:9-17. There are many which are blind, deaf, or both. Those who intentionally have closed their eyes are in a greater danger of Hell's fire. It is an ultimate rejection of the Word.

Sunday's Revival Service (Tulia Unit): The Praise Teams (English and Spanish) led us in many songs of worship. Danny McFalls came with a message from Lazarus and the Rich Man, in Luke 16: 19-31. The reality of there being no recourse, for those who find themselves under an eternal penalty of Hell's fire. The Praise Teams, once again, led us in more songs of worship. One of the men, who is an attendee, of our Study at the Tulia Unit, read some scripture, to encourage the others to never give up. I came with a message from Matthew 11: 28-30, Jesus' often quoted passage, in a call to salvation. A step has to be made, by anyone seeking salvation, unto the Savior. We must learn of Him, through the guidance of the Comforter, to aid us in our yoke, which Christ bears with us. We offered  a call to the altar, directed by the Holy Ghost. Many of the men came forth. Danny and I prayed for them in unison, as time was not an option. It was very moving. Many thanks go out to the administration for allowing this Revival.

Ministry Events for week ending 8/25/13:

Thursday's Study at the Tulia Unit: We began by reviewing verses twenty five and six, of II Timothy, second chapter. We continued on, in chapter three, by dissecting verses one and two. However, we paused after the word "unthankful". It was a great benefit to look at each word, in the strength of each individual word. This Study moved on with  smooth results.

Friday's Study at the Youth Center of the High Plains: I stayed a few minutes outside, looking into what I thought, the Lord might have us to study in. Although, I was quick to realize, that we probably would not make it to the pre-supposed scriptures. Questions after questions flowed, thereafter. The teacher, and overseer of the Study, knew that the Lord had chosen a different route, as well. After, we paused for the evening, I reminded the attendees, of the hard questions, they had asked. I, also, wanted them to know, that it was the Holy Spirit, who answered them all, not I. Thank you Lord!

Sunday's Service at the Clements Unit: Our usual Volunteer, led off the Service with scripture and prayer. The Praise Team led us in songs of worship. Our usual volunteer gave a message, from many scriptures. Revelation's utterance to God's people, to "come out" from among those whom, portray their love for God, in falsehood. One of the men delivered a message, encouraging the men to allow God to speak through them. I, indeed, was laughing with joy inside. For, the Lord had given me a word, as I prayed on my way, to the Unit. I came with a message from Matthew 7: 20-23. Danny McFalls told me, as we were driving home from our Services, last week, at the Crain Unit, that one of the women asked him, "Why would Jesus say, I never knew you?". She was in confusion, about a part of the message, I had delivered, at the Trustee Camp. It is the pretenders, in Matthew's illustration, who will ask the questions, unto Jesus Christ. They give the glory unto themselves, not the Lord. For, they come in their own agenda. Those, whom are driven by the Spirit of God, look not for any glory. The others never had their names written in the Lamb's little book. No new names. Thus, no family relationship, was ever begun.

Ministry Events for week ending 8/20/13:

There were no Studies at the Tulia Unit, nor, The Youth Center of the High Plains, due to an "open week".

Sunday's Service at the "Cell Blocks" (Crain Unit): Danny McFalls and I went to two neighboring cell blocks. He went to one, and I, the other. He told me that He gave an overview of our ministry in Christ. And, there were some testimony, as well. I opened with scripture, prayer, and a song. One of the ladies, shyly, sung a song, also. I delivered a message from Luke 6: 27-30, and 46. The flux of the message dealt with verse forty six. Most people want Jesus to save their soul, however, they do  not want Him to lord over them.

Sunday's Service at the "Trustee Camp": MY LORD, OUR LORD! Danny and I, both, felt that the Lord was about to work some Almighty things. In our spirit, we could feel Him overcoming all else. Nothing, or no one, would stand against Him. We had been aware of these things for weeks. The ladies started the Service with scripture and prayer. Then, their Praise team led us in three songs of worship. It was evident, without a doubt, that the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost was moving. Danny and I sung a song, "You never mentioned Him to me". I then, sung a rendition of "If I can't speak for Jesus", by the Five Blind Boys of Alabama, somewhat, in my own style. However, I held back somewhat on the high notes. The Lord gave me that gift to go way up, yet, most of the time, I hold back. Danny gave some testimony, and an overview of the "Prodigal Son", from the Fifteenth chapter of Luke. He, next, delivered a brief message from Luke 14:15-24, "The Great Supper". I came forth with a word from I Corinthians 4:1-5. We must remember, the Lord gave us insight into trying of the spirits. However, He is the Righteous Judge. He has the final say. Thank God! After a closing prayer, as we were supposed to be in the final minutes of the service, the Spirit of God stepped up His movement. There were about one hundred and fifty women present. And, many of them came to thank us for coming. But, the real movement was felt as about a third of them formed two lines for prayer. The tears flowed, and it was evident, that the Lord's word had compelled many of them to come with questions, thanks, and requests for prayer. Prayer and more prayer. Danny and I had seen many wonders during and after the services. Yet, this was far more robust and outreaching. MY LORD, OUR LORD!

Ministry Events for week ending 8/11/13:

Thursday's Study at the Tulia Unit: We continued our Study in Second Timothy. We reviewed verses fifteen through twenty six. We, also, looked into chapter three, verse one. We will begin here on the twenty seventh, Lord willing. The men complained, in the onset, of the resistance, they were encountering, from many. I reminded them, of the war, and the suffering which goes with it. Also, that "our light affliction, which is, but, for a moment ... (II Corinthians 4:17).

Friday's Study at the Youth Center of the High Plains: We reviewed Hebrews 11:1-2, and many other verses to help in the belief of the spiritual undertakings, earthly and Heavenly. Many questions arose, that were very hard to answer. Only, in the Spirit of God, who has all the answers, can one be expressive.

Ministry Events for week ending 8/4/13:

Thursdays Study at the Tulia Unit: We, continued in our study, of the second chapter of Second Timothy. Verses fifteen through nineteen, were viewed in length. We looked into verse nineteen, with several comments and scriptures, on knowing the difference of those who have surrendered their lives to God, and those whom, still belong to the world.

Friday's Study at the Youth Center of the High Plains: We, looked into Psalms 40: 1-8. David, reveals the steps unto salvation, as well, as the conduct and expressions, of one with a heart of trust, in God. This class was very attentive.

Sunday's Service at the Clements Unit: We were led in songs of worship, by the Praise Team. Our "usual" Volunteer, gave a message, primarily, from John 18, before he departed, to pick up people, for his Church service, in town. One of the men, gave a brief message from Mark 16:15. He gave some descriptions, on the true servants, of the Lord. I delivered a message from the book of Jonah. A comparison of the three days in hell, of Jonah and our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, was given. Jonah cried out of the belly of the fish, for selfish reasons. However, Jesus did not cry out at all, for he was there for others.

Sunday's Service at the Jordan Unit: The Praise Team led, in songs of worship, to our Father. Danny McFalls gave a testimony on three men, who came to visit. They were released from the Roach Unit, and, were giving thanks, and words of encouragement to those of Kairos. Danny, also gave warnings, concerning the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, that we are living in. I gave a word from Psalms 40:1-8. The Lord reaches down into the murky mire, lives of mess, to rescue those who cry out to Him, for deliverance.

Sunday's Service at the Baten Unit: There was some confusion, as to who was scheduled for this Service. A couple more Volunteers arrived to do the Service. We, finally, all went in. Danny McFalls was on his way back home. After a few songs of worship, I gave a message from Mark 16:15. Jesus' ministry is a "go" ministry. There are far too many, who sit back and wait for the lost to come to them. One of the other Volunteers gave a message from Revelations' third chapter, with a hint about the Church, at Laodicea.

Ministry Events for week ending 7/28/13:

Thursday's Study at the Tulia Unit: We continued our  study into the second chapter of Second Timothy. Verses nine through fifteen were discussed, along with other scripture from various books of the Bible. Verse fifteen was discussed at length, for about the last thirty minutes.

Friday's Study at the Youth Center of the High plains: We discussed and reviewed many subject matters. As, the Spirit of God led the young ones, in a series of questions. I followed the lead of the Spirit, and, He taught us many diverse things. Praise the Lord!

Sunday's Service at the Clements Unit: We went through our usual sequence of events, however, one the men came with a sermon. This was the first time, that one of the men, was allowed to bring a message. He spoke on blind Bartimaeus. Mark 10: 46-52, severed as the backdrop for his message. He gave an outstanding word. I preached a message from Amos 8: 11. We are in the last, of the last days. God's word is becoming more difficult to be heard, due to those who are preaching somethings, contrary to the truth.

Ministry Events for week ending 7/21/13:

There were no Studies at the Tulia Unit, nor, the Youth Center of the High Plains , this week, due to an "off week".

Sundays First Service at the Formby Unit (Formby):  One of the men prayed, read scripture, and gave a brief testimony. The Praise Team led us in songs of worship. One of the men sung a solo, from a song he wrote. Danny McFalls gave an overview of our past and present lives. I sung a solo, "If I can't speak for Jesus" (I'd rather die). I delivered a message from Mark 8: 34-38. What can be compared to a soul. How can you put a physical price on anything spiritual?

Sunday's Second Service at the Formby Unit (Wheeler State Jail): One of the men lead us in the aforementioned things, in the first Service. The same man that did the solo, in the first service, sung again. Danny McFalls gave a testimony, and, delivered a message from James 1: 21-25. The hearers and doers of the word. I sung a solo, "Sending up a little timber". I gave a message from Mark 12:35-38. God is changing the look of this world, as the enemies are being exposed, and pummeled by the Word of God.

Ministry Events for week ending 6/23/13:

There were no Studies at the Tulia Unit (Thursday), nor, the Youth Center of the High Plains (Friday), due to an "open week".

Sunday's Service at the Clements Unit: Our "usual Volunteer" opened up the Service. The Praise Team led in a few songs of worship. The Volunteer gave a message, using Moses, bringing the water from the rock, at Massah and Meribah. It was an example of how we sometimes do what the Lord commands, yet, we do it our way; and, not according to His commands. One of the men sung two "specials", and, the Praise Team led in another song of worship. I had been given approval from my doctor to attend this service, as, I progress from the retinal detachment surgery, that I had. I delivered a message from Luke 10: 25-37. I had been shown another angle to this passage, other than the usual one, where at the end, the Samaritan is said to be the neighbor of the three, by the lawyer. The Lord, however revealed to me, in study, about a month ago, that the certain man, was a neighbor, as well. He stands out in this passage as "the lost", or, those with critical troubles, in need of help. Jesus did not give any observations of this man, concerning his background, ethnicity, religious, or social standing. We should not look unto any of those things, on the road of discipleship. We should try and be a help, unto all, that we encounter.

Ministry Events for week ending 6/16/13:

The following input will be issued as one summation., due to an apparent and unforeseen surgical procedure administered to myself, on 6/14/2013. A torn retina of the right eye is the culprit. My, eventual recovery is up in the air. Howbeit, with prayer and the guidance of the physicians, I will be fine.

There were no Studies this week at the Tulia Unit, nor, the Youth Center of the High Plains. We are anticipating these Studies to continue in the near future, the Lord willing.
Danny McFalls was in service for the three Services at the Roach Unit. He, informed me, there were baptisms , at the start of the first two Services. He also, preached on Lazarus and the rich man, from Luke 16.

ALL GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!
